Terms and Conditions

Polly Louise Artisan Quilts and other Treasures are homemade and handmade items that are produced on a small scale without the aid of commercial computerised machinery and processes. All I have are my hands, my cutting mats and rotary cutters, my domestic sewing machine, and a needle and thread. Therefore, each item is unique and has the charm of being perfectly imperfect! That is not to say that they are not made with the highest quality fabrics and materials, and the highest level of care and attention to detail goes into every stitch. Whilst I take great care in measuring my quilts and taking good quality photos, due to the their homemade nature, you should accept that items may vary slightly in terms of size and colours that may be described on the website.

Additionally, it is important that you follow the “How to wash and care for my Quilt” advise provided with each quilt purchase, in order that you maximise the durability, longevity and beauty of your quilt.

When you Order an item from my website you are entering into an agreement (contract) with Polly Louise Artisan Quilts and your rights as a consumer are upheld under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2014.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse my shop and add any items you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “checkout” and you will be asked to provide a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.
We only accept orders from UK card payments and all prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
Your order will be processed when your payment clears, and you will receive an order confirmation email which will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us.

SPECIAL OFFERS: I occasionally offer special offers and discounts which are given with codes. To receive the discount the buyer MUST enter the code at checkout. I cannot refund the discount after the purchase is made. If you need any assistance with coupon codes, please message me BEFORE you submit your order.

SHIPPING
Your quilt or other item will always be posted to you on the same day as payment is received or next working day if payment received after 3pm. Postage is by Royal Mail Second Class (United Kingdom Orders Only) with a usual delivery time of 3-5 working days. This is free.

Returns Policy
I am confident that you will be happy with your beautiful new homemade quilt. However, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase you can return an item to us. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery. The item must be in its original condition otherwise a refund will not be issued. The item must be returned to us at the address provided to you upon Return Request. We recommend that you receive a proof of posting and send it by recorded delivery. We can only process the refund monies once we receive the goods back at our shop. We will issue a full refund less any discount that was applied to the item, within 14 days of receipt of the returned item. Please also note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective and therefore postage and packaging charges are refundable.

Cancelling your order

If you wish to cancel your order please contact us on (+44) 07949039996 within 24 hrs of placing the order. Please note we try to dispatch orders on the same day that we receive them (or next business day for orders after 3pm). This means we may have already shipped your order when you contact us and are therefore unable to cancel the order. In this case you will need to follow our returns policy (above).

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as laid out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 and Consumer Rights Act 2015.
